I want a box to keep Christmas Baubles separated in please?

My girlfriend and I have been buying lots of ornate baubles for our first Christmas tree together but we want to make sure these do not break when we store them after crimbo. Is it possible to buy a large box with compartments for baubles? Or would people suggest wrapping them in bubble or newspaper etc...?
Cheers in advance!

Saw one in Tesco last year, but it was after Christmas, not sure if they will have them in this year though! Personally we keep them in biscuit tins with some paper shreddings between them, not had one break yet! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

We have a general large plastic box that we keep all our tree decorations in. We wrap them individually in a sheet of kitchen roll and have been doing for the past 20 years. This works fine and have never had any breakages.0

the trays that apples are on in the supermarkets are quite good cut to fit in a box and layer as required most shops will happily give you these trays but ask first0

Fantastic answers thanks a lot! We have spent a small fortune on these bloomin' baubles so hopefully they will last us for a lot of years to come.

I know that feeling well.:D The thing is..............every Christmas you'll enjoy seeing the baubles and remember buying them together......awwwwwwww.:D
I store mine in old Roses and Quality Street tins. Each bauble is wrapped in bubble wrap and placed in the tin.................and they've survived decades without damage.
Save yourself the cost of buying special containers and use a biscuit or Roses tin and bubble wrap instead.

Homebase, last year, were giving away the large boxes that they received the baubles in.0

however I'm sure you could make dividers yourself from sturdy card at next to no cost. If you work in on office the boxes which the A4 printer paper comes in are usually fairly robust and that's what are holding most of my Christmas baubales - all individually wrapped in bubble wrap (again free from some deliveries)NO FARMS = NO FOOD0 -
