can someone verfiy for me whats to stop debenhams looking into the email address's that are signed up? those that use things like spam gourmet, etc? just dont want to go ahead and set it up if it can be tracked by them!!!

I thought that too (they can't really track you but i wanted to be on the safe side), so I just cut the bit at the top with my email address. I used 5 yesterday like that with no problems :)
  • has anyone been to the metro centre one and had any problems also how many floors does it have

i know there would be no problems using them that way im just thinking if after the promo has finished they look back and see that the emails are very similar they may question it and look at your i.p address, etc???

im a very paranoid person, felt guilty after just using one! even though im allowed! :rotfl:so just want to check if i set it up through the spamgourmet, etc i wont get into trouble!!!!

** forgot to add my hubby used one too and he got told that someone used 8 vouchers yesterday and got escorted off the premises! my hubby has decided not to come back with me if i do set up some more email addys! im a bit scared but not that scared!! :rotfl:

    LOLOL. :rotfl:

If the emails are similar, i imagine they'll just tell you 'sorry but you can't use these as it looks like it's the same person'. Cos they do allow you to make multiple transactions as long as it's for different people and different emails.

I think if you are scared, just cut off the email bit.

EDIT: And it looks like each debenhams store has their own rules, cos the one i go to would allow you to give 8 sep vouchers.
  • LOL! Well you can't blame a tryer. I think the worst they can do is ban you from the store, but I imagine you would have to be a bit obvious, like perhaps going when the store is near enough empty holding numerous debenhams bags hehe
    Comping wishlist for 2017
    1. Family holiday 2. Christmas presents :rudolf: 3. Fishing stuff
The more you put into life, the more you get out
  • Using the vouchers on food? Yes!!!!! :j I've bought chocolate truffles (some posh name, and DH and I ate them last night;)), chocolate ginger biscuits, boxes of Dairy Milk chunks (£2.50 a box, so you can get 2), and I saw people buying jars of something (jellies?). Most of these were in Oxford Street yesterday.

I can't remember the exact date the first vouchers were received, I think it was only a week ago, but a week's a long time in politics and glitches.

Possibly the SAs refused to honour them on food initially, and then relented. HTH

    xx

if you click on cant see this email in small writing above the voucher on your email then it comes up in a new page if you then click on print preview you can make it 70% and the whole email fits on one page and it doesnt show you email address either
  • Just been into lakeside bought a 10 more disney jigsaws in a box, £18 half price and then saved an extra £5 with the voucher!
