the "excellent" band Levellers are offering a free mp3 download of one of their live tracks taken from their forthcoming dvd release on 16th October.

  • There is something special about downloading Levellers stuff, especially if its done in such a way as to stop them getting any money back :D Do they still like to have their old 'on the fiddle' image? what about their rolling 'A' symbol? Do Crusties have MP3 players anyway or have they moved on from dogs on strings?

    That said though, battle of the beanfield, was an ok track.

    I was referring to their live performances and their strong fan following, they are brilliant live both electric and acoustic.

    they still beat fans up in the pub after gigs? (or was that Chadwicks own private 'anger management tour' ) I thought the acoustic tours were done by 'drunk in public' anyway, which sems quite apt.
  • the "drunk in public" is a seperate thing again, smaller, more intimate venues and acoustic, if you get the chance its not to be missed !!!
