hiya question about experian (again sorry)

hi there
just a quick one re i have received both credit reports from experian and equifax.
equifax have me on the electoral role but experian dont.
what kind of effect could this have? any ideas?

    If you applied for a credit product with a lender that only check experian then this would have a very large (negative) impact.

  • thanks a lot, i have emailed experian asking that they update this. do they ask for proof? how would i provide this? ive been on the electoral role for 3 years

    I would think they will check with the council. Occasionally this does seem to happen where you appear on one agency and not on another (instances I've seen on here it seems to usually be experian whose records have been missing the info recently). I suppose its an admin error and with 40million plus people I suppose errors are bound to happen. I would expect them to be able to correct it fairly quickly and easily.
