Morning, will just be doing basics this week I think as potty training is not going well - we've been going since Saturday and have only had one pee and one poo in the potty. But Ollie has just taken himself to the potty for the first time and is seeming less resistant this morning so maybe we've turned a corner. However, I need to keep on top of the washing so things don't start to smell and Ollie has clothes to wear so that, as well as puddle patrol will be my priority. We have a birthday party to go to this afternoon and I'm in two minds whether to put him in a pull up or not - any thoughts? To me it seems like a step in the wrong direction but I don't want him to be embarrassed if he has an accident, especially as most of his friends are already trained.

Anyway, LR does need a going over so let's have a look -

Monday ~ Living room, Hall and Stairs
Level One
Declutter the floors
Vacuum decluttered floors!
Tidy coats and shoes, [STRIKE]put summer ones away for next summer or in the bin or charity shop bag as required![/STRIKE]
Level Two
declutter and dust the tops of any units and dust ornaments
Wipe the sofas if needed or wash covers as required
[STRIKE]Wipe and water plants,[/STRIKE] dust and deweb
[STRIKE]Declutter and wipe fire surround[/STRIKE]
Level Three
[STRIKE]Check house for draughts and make a plan to plug them before it gets REALLY wintery cold![/STRIKE]
Hang pictures/mirrors etc that you have had for AAAAGES and not got round to doing yet! - need frames...
Empty and clear out a cupboard or drawer..
Extras
HHI or HHC doing some task you ALWAYS put off!

Some of it doesn't apply so not too bad, will do L1 at least and have a general tidy - it always seems such a state after the weekend...

Morning All :wave:

Am in again this week, thanks to all at FCC for the lists etc, I had a wonderful time at the hotel, came back chilled and relaxed. Every room in the house was done before I left on Saturday and kids never came back until around 4 so should manage lists no problem this week. Windows in my bedroom, DD’s bedroom & new front door being fitted on Wednesday but am hoping there is not too much of a clean up. On Tuesday night, we have to take down curtains & blinds, Am going to have to sleep in my room with no curtains/blinds as joiners will be here by 8am :eek: I can cross a lot off today so I will try and get extras done later.

Hellyboo - Potty training!:eek: It's a long time since I had to do that but I remember how frustrating things can be. A pull up might be an idea, it depends if he will be embarressed if he has an accident - will you be there?

Macpep1 - I'm pleased you had a wonderful time at the hotel and that you will have an easy week.

My list is just about done, didn't take too long thanks to last weeks efforts! I've also adopted the advised night time routine.

Make freezer inventory and put onto s/sheet
Go through wardrobes and de clutter to c.shop
Sort out under stairs cupboard

Try and work out how to sell on ebay!
Make curtain linings for dining room, front door and study
Sort out ingredients for Christmas cake
Write Christmas cards earlier this year!
Write list of Christmas presents still to get
Start to wrap Christmas presents and keep a list of what/who
Buy 2011 diaries and calendar
Clean the vacuum cleaner and wash filter
Tidy the garden up before winter

I'll start on the hallway and stairs after a cuppa!
