i think i just grouped mine together as 'phone', and they can see from the statements how it is split out. there isn't that much room on the form for everything to be split out anyway, i had to group my car tax and insurance together as well. it isn't a lie0

thanks for that confused
for my first day i have gained quite a lot of info
its really reassuring to speak with ppl who have been there done that if you know what i mean
thanks again:j0 -
The OR will see on my statements £30 a month going to Orange for my mobile, i don't pay for the landline, my partner does. So it won't show anything going to Virgin on my statements (who provide our landline service) so what happens then if i put the mobile under landline on my SOA, this is a lie?
Your partner's contributions to the household expenses will be included on your SOA.
who pays for what in practice, doesn't matter.
But the amount you personally can claim may need to be altered to reflect shared payment? No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......0 -
thanks again
it does get confusing
as we are both going BR as we have individual debts and joint debts so not sure how we fill out individual soa:j0 -
It looks fine deadinthewater as nothing is really overestimated apart from the Electricity and providing you can justify and prove that this is what you spend then you'll be fine.
There is still probably room for increasing the expenditure as well if your situation was to change - you have £0 for Sundries / Emergencies and the clothing allowance is actually a little higher than what you have allowed.
Regardless of this there is no Disposable Income and for the OR to request an Income Payments Order you would probably need to have in excess of £100 per month Disposible (per individual)
Good Luck!0 -

I wouldn't worry about filling out an Individual SOA - the household expenses are just that ... so just present the Household Income & Expenditure as you have done it and show the % of Household Income attributed to each of you ...
e.g. You earn 75% of Household Income (therefore if there was a DI 75% would be attributed to you)
Your partner earns 25% of Household Income - let's just say that the allowance your son gives is attributed to her ...
Just state this at the bottom of the Joint I&E and that will suffice ...0 -

thanks for this but i didn't want to put my partners income and outgoings on the SOA, we half everything and have separate bank accounts etc, so i would only put my half of everything on the soa with my income. I would put there are 2 adults in my home but i didn't want to put his income. Can i do that?0 -
you still need to add his income as the receiver will want to see he pays fair share etcWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0
