I requested a payment on 26 Nov and was paid on 30 Nov. As you say, it's the holidays, and they only went back to work this week, so you should get paid soon.

well, its taken me months to get to £40 and still not had payment yet.

It's currently taking me between 4 and 5 months to reach £40, a little slower since holidays.

The most recent payment request I made there was a onepoll paypal issue, but it was resolved eventually. Payments usually go through quite quickly.
