What do you think about this mattress

on the paper, this mattress looks very good.
The fact is that I can't understand which brand it is as well as I can't understand how they can boxed it without damage it.

As usual I ask for your suggestion/comments, since this community as been useful to me more than once.

It's made by Visco Therapy, you can find it on this site http://www.viscotherapy.co.uk/ - in fact your picture has been nicked straight from the website. I couldn't tell you what the quality is like, it's over twice what I would pay for a mattress so out of my league, I'd never pay that much. hth.. Why don't you just contact the seller for more info?

The mattress containst the smaller, cheaper and less supportive reflex foam encapsulated pocket springs. Full size steel pocket springs that give the best support can't be vacuum packed and rolled up without damaging them. But with these springs being smaller then it won't caise as much damage. However it still puts the memoory foam under a great deal of stress. You will find that good quality mattresses never come rolled up.

I notice they don't mention the density of the memory foam, but the depth is ok.

It's a shame I notice this comment so late, unluckily I had it today. I was surprised about the vacuum-rolled up combination, but now I can just hope everything is allright. The memory foam deep is a standard 5 cm.

By the way, do you have any suggestion to check if everything is all right after I opened it (like the mattress didn't receive any damage during the transport)

It is often difficult to tell if there is any damage to a mattress until you have slept on it for a while. However try pushing down on the mattress all over to see if there are ant soft spots, or noisey springs.

I slept on it last night.

It's obviously way better than the cheap mattress I had before, but it wasn't an easy night, I woke up several times, maybe because I still have to get used of it.

Anyway it's damn hot, not sure about this memory foam technology, maybe it's better without.

What is probably the main reason it is so hot would be because the springs are surrounded by reflex foam. This means that air can't circulate around them, and the heat can just build up (just like in a reflex foam and memory foam mattress).
