    I think some people don't like to be told that the price of property isn't going to crash through the floor. Cost of oil rising will certainly push up the cost of housing.

    I don't buy oil being very expensive ($150+) for an extended period. If it gets that expensive, people will use less and the price will fall. There is a huge amount of discretionary oil use.
