An Argos Futon

I would like to buy a three seater futon, which I will then be able to use as a double bed when guests come to visit.
Argos sell the type of futon I would like for about ₤250, the equivalent futon costs about ₤400+ from the futon company.
Are futons all made by a central place? And is an Argos futon therefore the same as one purchased from the futon company or elsewhere?
Please let me know.
Many thanks,
Danny
