cleaning a leather jacket

Does anyone know of a cheep way to clean a leather jacket that doesn't involve sending it to a dry cleaners for £50! I am very reluctant to do this as it would cost half as much as the jacket itself did.
Any help would be much appreciated,
Many thanks

Try a different dry cleaners, £50 is excessive. I paid £15 for mine to be dry cleaned and this is in London and a faster service.0

It depends what it needs really.....if its just a general leather clean then you can pick up leather cleaner/saddle soap which is about £10-15 depending on where it's from. If the inside needs a claen, is there anyway you can do it at home...some non-bio soap (VERY weak solution), a sponge and sponge it clean inside, hang it to dry (natural heat, not near radiators as the leather can be damaged) and then use leather feed/cleaner or saddle soap on the outside? It's how I used to do my leathers when I had a bike and it works extremely well (the leather cleaner/feed can also make the leather more water-resistant)** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **

I do it all because I'm scared.
