hello everyone, i have just realised that today is the 24th of October and i have now reached the end of my 6 years having bankruptcy on my credit file! :j i will be getting an updated credit report in a week or two just to be sure its gone!!
i didnt have the boards here when i went bankrupt but i do so wish i did as the helpfulness and advice here is invaluable and i often recommend these boards whenever i can.
i received some extremely important help and advice on my credit file a while ago - if i hadnt have asked i would have never known that the information held was completely wrong and that my bankruptcy would have been on there until 2012! :eek: with the help advice received i fought a battle with the bank to get it all correctly updated, so for that i just wanted to say my sincerest heartfelt thanks!
for everyone going through bankruptcy - stay strong! it often feels like you're wading through mud and getting nowhere but keep this support network close, and use it! the most important thing though - keep your head held high!
