Some advice needed.

I have been on a DMP with Payplan since March 2006.....just over 6 months. Some of my creditors have dropped the interest ( not many!!). Would it be worth contacting my creditors and asking them to stop the interest or would this Jeopardise my DMP.............due to the extortionate interest charges......I actually owe more than what I started with!!
Any thoughts on this will be gratefully received.

Give Payplan a call and see if they will contact them about getting them to stop charges and interest on the account. I know CCCS do this so i'm sure Payplan will do something along those lines too

I did contact Payplan but it was around the time they lost one of my payments (£496)!!!!! and the computers were down. I didn't really get much of a response.
I might try next month.....then I have definately passed the 6 month mark.

HI we are with payplan.
We are in the process of writing to all the creditors and rying to claim back the charges etc.
One we have done this we should take around £2500 of our debt if it goes ok !!
If i were you i wouldnt contact them yourself just yet as they might try to bully you for more money.
If you claim back the charges from them it will reduce your debt and hopefully it should make them think twice about assing charges in he future.
Good luck
