They did the same last year - not for very long though. Problem was that all the chocolates in our house got 'accidentally' eaten after a few weeks and we had to buy them all again at full price. Maybe I should buy twice as many tins this year?

When looking in Tesco, don't forget to check the Quality Street, Heroes, Celebrations, Mingles cardboard packs which SHOULD have '2 for £6' yellow offer labels on the shelves.
If you are very lucky you may find an old '2 for £5' Shelf label for these, in which case buy six and pay for them without comment, they will scan at 2 for £6 as that's the current offer. Then go to CS with your receipt and get all your money back and keep them for nowt.
Watch out, some other chocs ARE '2 for £5'...., like Nestle boxed chocs and Toblerones etc.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

What we do is drag out the big tin that was once full of roses some years ago which got scoffed (obviously) and we buy a variety of smaller boxes of Roses/Celebrations/heroes/chocolate orange segments, and tip them into the tin, thereby having a nice selection of all our faves (but no Quality Street - yuk).
JxxxAnd it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end0
