Woo hoo 2 days to pay day!!

Does anyone else get paid on the 15th of the month? The 15th is a Sunday so money goes in on Friday yeh!!!:j Which means not long until I can pay some more off my debt! (Sad or what??)

I have just checked my bank account and still have some money left too!! After checking my spreadsheet and making sure I havent forgotten to pay anything I am going to try and resist the temptation of spending it and throw it at my debts :D

  • Yep i normally get paid on the 15th of the month.

Glad there is another Manc on the board too
Classically it is said that money acts as a unit of account, a store of value, and a medium of exchange.

In fact, other goods are often better than money at being intertemporal stores of value, since most monies degrade in value over time through inflation or the overthrow of governments.

  • don't mean to rain on your parade, but getting paid on the 13th means it's longer until the next payday :)

it was best when I was paid on the last working day of the month!

I get paid for my old job on the 15th and for my new one on the last day of the month.

Meaning I get paid twice in two and a bit weeks :)

  • Yeah 15th for me too, but if it falls on a Saturday we get it on a Friday and if it's a Sunday we don't get it until MONDAY!! so have got to get through another weekend. BUT there is still money left and have a few non payment activities lined up for the kids care of my local library so should be ok.

Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.
