ISA Interest - Personal Allowance

in Cutting tax
Whilst I realise that interest gained on ISA's are tax free, does the income from ISA interest, count towards total income against your personal allowance. I will overpay income tax this year, and have to claim a refund, so I was just wondering whether I need to include ISA interest in my total income for the tax year.
Thanks for any help and guidance.
