I have a very old thread from over a year ago which i no longer want active on the site. How do i get it removed? I was advised to use the abuse button, then "other", and ask for this to happen, but after 6 attempts at this over the period of 2 weeks, the thread is still there

The only thing we know for sure, is that we know nothing

Can anyone help? The only thing we know for sure, is that we know nothing0

It doesn't show up in your 'posts' if you search by your username, so it is likely it has been deleted.0

You cannot delete threads only your responses as you have done. There is no reason why postings of people who have replied should be removed (no abuse that I can see). This site asserts copyright on all comments posted on the board0

I do want to post though, i have no intention of leaving the site. I didn't use the forum for a long time, and have recently come back. I don't want my old post on here.
There was another one which i did the same with (pressed abuse and asked for it to be removed), and it was removed the next day. Why not this one?? If I don't want my personal information there for everyone to see, then why is it not removed when i ask?The only thing we know for sure, is that we know nothing0 -

I'm a bit confused?
You said you wanted a thread deleted, but now you are saying you want your personal information deleted.
Is it the thread you want deleting, or just your personal information?
If it's just your personal information then the only personal information about you which is public is what you post yourself. In which case you can simply edit the post and remove it.0 -
Just the thread. No worries, it's gone now. Only took 13 or so emails lmao. Thanks all :beer:The only thing we know for sure, is that we know nothing0
