M&S chocolates and biscuits half price

Have been in local M&S today and their chocolates were half price £5.99 to £2.99. This is for approx 400g box.They had samples in store and the assistant said that they were made for M&S by Thorntons, (and they tasted like it!!).
Also on half price were biscuits, both belgian and chocolate ones both around the £3 mark, and their port and "Baileys" to £5.99 and £7.99 respectively.
They said they didn't know how long they would be on offer for.
All my Aunties and sons teachers presents sorted!
