do I need to advise the OR?

i've been told at work today that we are getting a pay rise in jan, but mine is going to be pretty much wiped out by a slight descrease in my hours. ive worked it out and after deductions my salary will probably only be an extra 40p a month. do i need to bother advising the OR for such a small increase?

Worry about it in Jan when its all balanced out. Then, just to cover yourself, tell them.

There is little point in telling them now as its all what if's at the moment and is not actually happening until January. Then you have 21 days to tell them of the change in circumstances; right here and now there are no changes in circumstances.
