Hi DFSD
An interesting development re OH's job. What a great opportunity, particularly in the present economic climate. Definitely something to factor into the decision making though I know it must be hard for you to have to put your moving plans on hold.
Good luck with the food budget. You always seem inventive and talented at cooking so I am sure you will do well on that front.
For some reason, I have felt nauseous for the last few weeks, as if I have permanent travel sickness. I am eating total rubbish on the grounds that it is better to eat something I fancy rather than nothing. I normally eat a lot of meat and fish, but have suddenly gone of it. Instead, I have taken a liking to things I hardly ever ate before; mango, mars bars, M&S vegetarian ready meals, rice pudding and that dreadful white toasting bread which is normally reserved for hangover bacon sandwiches. And no, I'm not pregnant! It has done wonders for my food spending. I probably should do something about it really; I just keep thinking it will go away soon. I bet if I make an appointment with the GP, it will magically go away!
Oh, I did press the order button. It tracked with £40 cashback which I find hard to believe (I was expecting about £6) but would be nice. What will be even nicer is when it arrives in store for me to collect.
You know you don't come across as negative in your diary. You sound like a positive person that is occasionally frustrated by circumstances beyond their control. And aren't we all.
Best wishes xMortgage, draw down Sept 2014: £222,000
Now: £173,2290 -
I second the fact that you don't come across negative. A new diary can be a good idea though with a fresh focus and almost spurs you on for more. When you start it don't forget to let me know so I can update my subscription.0

Thanks both, I guess I'm 'internally' negative! :rotfl:
Glad to hear you did the right thing Chocs and treated yourself - £40 CB is a big bonus too!
Sorry to hear you've been feeling rough, there are so many bugs and viruses going round, I hope that's 'all' it is in your case and it soon goes away.0 -
It's new diary time! :j
