CSA/C-Mec

Hi,
Found this document on line http://www.opfs.org.uk/files/pubs/rg_201006_child-maintenance.pdf Although this obviously refers to Scotland am i correct in assuming c-mec is going to be the 'new csa' from next year. If so does anyone know if the plans are still on schedule for April 2011, as it says on the pdf that people can apply to change to the new systems csa1/csa2, to the new gross calculation scheme as they seem to be calling it from April 2010.

Thanks

Hi i have been reading this also. Iv calculated that my DH payment will increase to over £80 per week (not including tax credits) he currently pays £63 (including tax credits). Will tax credits still be taken into account. I cant find that info anywhere. I also noted in the article that CS will be payable up to 20. This is very worrying as we cannot afford these payments. 12% of gross pay works out to alot more than what is currently assessed of 15% of net pay.
Anyone have any more ideas or info on this.

C-MEC is one of the gov bodies for the chop, it is to be taken back into the DWP proper. I may be wrong on this, but that is my understanding! If this happens then they will be back linked to the Gov and accountable!
