Back from the theater and still have £6.50 out of my budget! :T

Word of caution - never go to see the Vagina Monologues with your gran! :rotfl:

Started DS on solids today - this may have an impact on my weekly shop - hopefully only by a couple of pounds though........any more and he's going up for adoption :p Bless his little porridge face!

Postie brought me another freebie today - a bottle of shower gel - It was all bashed and split open inside the envelope though so I had to bin it :( Boooo!
  • BOOOOOOOOOO to royal mail.

YEAH to DS, remember when my ds started on solids he was so funny when he saw his dish, arms and legs would flap everywhere with excitment, getting very broody at the minute, good job OH has had the snip otherwise i think i would seriously wanting to get pregnant.

Had quite a productive day! :money:

Made crispy cakes ( need to stop - getting too fat) and homemade coleslaw.

Listed 8 items on Ebay - have listings ending in 2 days but not many bids yet.

Also had a call from Scottish Power this morning - I am leaving them to go to E:ON and I only just noticed that they hadn't been giving me my dual fuel discount I sent a rather stinky email this morning and got a phonecall straight back full of apologies. They are waiving the cancellation charge I faced for the switch (£30) - Result :T:T.

Done ASDA order for delivery Saturday night - it will be around £43 but I bought DS a load of veg that I will puree and freeze for his dinners, so quite happy.
  • Operation Mat Leave is dead and buried! Got tax credit payment this morning so decided just to pay the last £50 into savings account :T

It is gone - will remove it from my ticker and concentrate now on Mr BoS man!

It's only the 10th of the month and I have only £9.57 in my current account - I am still due about £50 worth of tax credits before payday and the grocery money is in a separate account so not too worried :o.

    Morning BR

    That's great news :)

Can't wait to see your progress with BOS, it will be nice watching that one come down!

What are your plans for today?

  • Morning Woo!

Not much in mind for today - may take kiddiewinks to the park or something but nothing majorly exciting - that's the only thing about being a DFW on maternity leave.......most days can be a tad boring! I wish it was still the summer coz it's freezing here and it makes you want to hibernate!
