    Morning BR

Well done on the payments, typical that any birthday money will have to go on something useful like a hoover! The joys of being an adult!

Can't wait to see you close Santander x

I don't mind a smidge as long as this card gets paid off all the quicker!!

It is a bit mental when you get paid and happly send a quarter of it offski to the cc in the next breath!

    Die credit cards! Die!!!!

Hope you are good today hun - will pop over to your diary at some point to catch up x

  • I hated my santander CC, couldn't wait to get rid, there customer service is pants, they seem to think they can do as they please.

Reckon you will have got rid of BOS in no time, i've noticed that just chucking a few pounds here and there at CC soon adds up.

Paid the last £18.05 this afternoon as the BT was showing online - I had great satisfaction in phoning them up and telling them to close the account!

Funny you should mention the customer service penny, they couldn't have been nicer - even offered me a 6 months 0% deal to stay. Thanks but no thanks! 1sm236bubbles.gif

So just Big bad Bank of Scotland to combat now! 1sm246viking.gif

    £2250.11 to go!

Nothing much to report on the money front at all - hoping I can make a few overpayments before June is through. At the minute I am just relishing the thought that i only have one card left to tackle!! 1lg013happydance.gif

I've had loads of birthdays to pay for this week - It is DS's 1st birthday on Tuesday as well as my grans. i also had to get a prezzie for my cousin who was 18 last week........not to mention it's fathers day in a fortnight also! I'm going to wait till nearer the end of the month I think to make overpayments as i don't want to leave myself short!

    Good Evening all!!

It has been a glorious day here! cheered me up no end happy.gif.

I was itchingscratch.gif to make an overpayment earlier - to watch the debt drop a bit so decided to round down the numbers in my current account.

£12.57 sent to the cc thclapping.gif. Not much but at least it's somthing!

Total paid off since payday = £430.62 Aiming to get this figure as close to £500 as I can! I have not included my minimum payment direct debit to BoS in this as I'm not sure how much of this will be interest.

Off to check my statement and update sig

Have just checked my statement - I paid £19.23 minimum payment on the 31st of May - only £8.87 of this was interest so £10.36 has come off the balance!!

    New total for the month £430.62 + £10.36 = £440.98!!! spin.gif

    Not too shabby splumfairysmile.gif

It's my birthday on Wednesday but my lovely family got together last night for a bit of a party - I managed to accumulate £100 vouchers and £80 cash!! money2-smiley.gif I feel very spoiled! especially as I know my OH has a kindle stashed away for me too! stars-shower-smiley.gif

I'm thinking that I will use my vouchers to treat myself - but put the £80 into my bank account to send to BoS thinking-smiley.gif...........makes me a bit sad as I know I should be using it to buy myself something nice..........but on the other hand it makes me happy as the debt will fall even more and get me closer to my debt free goal!

I'm going shopping later so I hope I behave!

    Watch this space........samvete-smiley.gif
