Credit file clean up

We have both been discharged from bankruptcy now :j so I've just looked at our credit files and there are a few things still outstanding I'm going to write to them over the next week to try and get them updated.

Our mortgage is one of the things outstanding, we sent the keys back in February but the property is still for sale. Would the mortgage company change this to settled without the property being sold or do we have to wait until it's sold so they know how much is going to be added to the bankruptcy?

Thank you in advance, this forum has been an absolute god send don't know what we'd have done if we hadn't come across it!
