1Gb MP3 Player Using Your £20 8GB Ipod Nano Amazon Cancellation Gift Certificate

Hi

Just consoled myself following the Amazon nano 8GB cancellation fiasco by buying the SanDisk Sansa m240 1Gb MP3 Player from Amazon priced at £29.99. Some good reviews available using google.

A snip at £9.99 using the 8GB Ipod Nano Amazon Cancellation Gift Certificate.

Disappointed not to eventually own an ipod but on the bright side I've saved over £100 by downsizing from 8GB to 1GB.

Hope this helps someone.

Regards

Allan

It looks like Amazon sent some people £20 gift codes because they messed up on the 8GB Ipod Nano pricing. Looks like we are too late to take advantage of it though.

  • Hi

Yes, sorry I should have made it clear. Amazon handed out £20 gift certificates when they admitted the pricing error on their website.

"Please be advised that we will be cancelling your order for the New
    Apple iPod nano - 8GB - Black.

We know this is disappointing, and so we would like to give you a
complementary 20.00 GBP gift certificate for use on the Amazon.co.uk
website. Even though we have no legal obligation to provide this gift
certificate, it is our way of apologising to you for our pricing
error. The 20.00 GBP gift certificate may be used towards the
purchase of a new Apple iPod or any of the other items offered by sale
    by Amazon.co.uk on our website."

But only to some customers! Apparently some people got offered a fiver - anyone got any tips on what they could spend that on?? :D
