  • When he was in the Screaming Trees? I wish it was a better photo as the dude has quite a rumpled, craggy face. I know they were a Seattle band too though. Did you see a similar photo?

I think it might be Mark Lanegan :)

ETA: Found this :) Thank God, that makes up for my shameful not realising it was Kurt Cobain in the first picture moment!!

That looks about right! The photo they have in the questions is shocking quality though!
    2010 wins= £610. 2011 wins= £66.
July wins- Nivea For Men moisturiser, Hair Clips, Witch Liquid Concealer,
Back to comping after 6 month break from starting own business!
  • Oh my God!! I had no idea he looked so different

I think I prefer him older and rumpled. Ed Harcourt played with him in his Gutter Twins guise. I just realised how random that sounds. I am a huge fan of EH & used to moderate his fan forum!

Going back to ML - yep totally agree! Well done! x;)

I didn't realise there was a time he wasn't in them, I was staring at the picture, and, he has quite along face, queue me trying to think of frontmen with quite long faces for a bit and it popped in my head, well, I know what I mean anyway! No disrespect to Mr Langean or anything! :)
  • He's been in several other outfits since then. The Twilight Singers, The Gutter Twins, Soulsavers and he also did an album with Isabel Campbell from Belle and Sebastian that was nominated for a Mercury Prize a few years ago. Some of the Soulsavers stuff was lovely, see if you can find a song called ' Revival'

I knew about The Twilight Singers and the Isobel Campbell albums he did, thanks for the recommendation I'll check it out :). Sorry for bumping again too, this is the last time I promise :)
  • Lol, I've only been using the site about a month & I've seen this term 'bumping' used - what does it mean?

It's when someone bumps a thread to the top unessecarily, to make a random comment or just say thanks, as I've just done again now! :D
  • Thank you : )
