My OH and I are also in our mid 20's and are in the same boat !!! you were with no money for a deposit or a house even though we've been together for 8 years now. We're considering giving up comping as we haven't been winning a bean - but your post is quite inspirational thank you for sharing it! 2008-2011: £23k of wins :eek:

Congratulations on your win, it's fantastic! I'm sat reading this on my teabreak at work and I must say that this story has cheered me up enormously. What with all the gloomy budget news and 2 potential job cut meetings at work this week, this has lifted my spirits. I'm inspired by your positive thinking and will be applying that to my own situation, in the hope of keeping my job! I will keep my job!
