If you get onto your bank
    or buiding society they have
    their own department for
    share buying.

Slowen, you have been told a load of duff gen on here so far. I am buying a share in LFC shortly and they are readily available through http://www.blankstonesington.co.uk/ , a stockbroker in Liverpool. The going rate at the moment is £3000. Owning a share gives you NO privileges for getting tickets for Premiership games at all so if you are looking to get one to avoid the season ticket waitlist problem it's a non starter but as the shares pay no dividends it is an unwritten rule that you will get a ticket for cup finals and home CL matches. If you want definitive gen on LFC shares contact the chap who owns http://www.lfcshares.com/ . He offered to sell me a share last season but wanted £4000 per share which is too much.
