Yipee bank charges back!! Do yours now :)

All good!

I just got my bank charges refunded by Natwest. I didn't have to make a claim, I sent the preliminary letter and letter before action and they refunded me without me having to make a claim. The charges were £300, a relatively small amount, but big to me. No confidentiality agreement or anything.

So don't delay, get onto yours. Perhaps the banks are having a change of heart and settling smaller claims without the need to go to court.

Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.

Well, I posted my LBA yesterday for almost £5,500 so fingers crossed eh?

Mind you, this doesn't include this months charges and interest which will probably amount to another £150...

    Congratulations!

I really must send my LBA - I sent the preliminary a while back, they told me to bog off, and since then I've been too ill to think about it :( Recovering now, so better get it sorted.

In July this year, I was charged £680 by Natwest for knocking back all my SOs/DDs. Needless to say, I'll get 'em back at playtime. Just finished drafting my letter!

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Well done!

They obviously work on a case-by-case basis, as I've sent the preliminary letter (for a similar amount to yours) to them and was told to p*** off! Will do my LBA this week.
