Asda Christmas Voucher Promotion - starts 25th Oct ??

I was looking forward to this promotion until I tried to actually use some of the vouchers on stuff we usually buy and found that either Asda had put the price up - ie - the takeaway meal for 2 the week before was £5 then went up to £6.50, so a voucher for £2 off really only gave a 50p saving or even with the voucher it was still cheaper to buy elsewhere (Absolut Vodka was one of them)

Anything else we were interested in (prawns/cornflakes/tea bags) our Asda never had any in stock or didn't stock in the first place.

Haven't bothered looking at the 2nd booklet as I know I will be disappointed

Edited to add: What I should have done was bought them and then used price match but I was too cross at the time to think of that :doh:
