I get married in December and need to think of some gifts to get the attendants and mums etc. My MIL 2 B is from other end of country so need to get something that will travel easily. We need to get:
Mums x 2
Dads x 2
Bridesmaids (adults) x 2
Best Man
Usher
Anyone got any great ideas - especially money saving ones!!! :money:
Thank you!

Studio cards do some lovely personalised things to thank bridesmaids etc https://www.24studio.co.uk I believe is the web address, not expensive either.
We had our flowers pressed and framed when I was a bridesmaid, they were lovely. One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Hi, i also bought from connick, the gifts were nice but pricey.
How about buying them crystal corsages instead of flower ones - http://www.moonstonetiaras.co.uk do lovely stuff.
I bought my bridesmaids crystal necklaces, these were also expensive ( one of my worst buys too) but a few very reasonable online shops are http://suzcatsilverdesigns.co.uk - aghh i can't find the link for the other - will add it tomorrow when i can find it - anyway they do some lovely stuff for bridesmaids.
I wish that i'd shopped round a bit better for the bridesmaids and other gifts.

Bridesmaids a necklace to wear on the day (given in a presentation box on the morning of the wedding with a personal thank you from me)
Ushers and best man cufflinks to wear on the day (given on day by other half ditto above)
Mums flowers, dads silver photoframes to put our wedding photo in0 -
Last wedding I went to the bridesmaids got Tiffany bracelets, the best man & dads Tiffany cufflinks, the mums posh Tiffany pens. don't know about the usher but am sure you could find something suitable there too? Don't know the web address but I know they were bought online (I was in the office with the bride when she ordered them) so a quick google should find them and we were all amazed at how resonable thier prices were, they looked & sounded much more expensive!.

I was a bridemaid for my best friend last Nov and she gave us a handmade crossstich sampler, saying thank you for being my bridesmaid with the date ect and she got a beautiful frame to put it in.
This now takes pride of place in my hallway she also gave us a friendship ornement.
It was perfect!Proud to be DEBT FREE AT LAST0 -
What about nice photo albums for the parents to put their favourite snaps in? You could even get personalised ones with your names and wedding dates on, and/or pay for a few reprints each from the professional photos. Here I go again on my own....0

My sister-in-law gave silver handbag mirrors (the kind that have a hinge and have one half normal mirror and one half magnifying mirror) with a lovely message and the date of the wedding engraved on them as favours for the more grown-up bridesmaids and mother/mother-in-law, maybe you could think of something to be engraved for the men - a silver card wallet? Hip flask? I really think it has to be something personalised to make it more meaningful. Before you criticise a man, walk a mile in his shoes. Then, when you do criticise him, you're a mile away and you have his shoes.0
