Thick sponge for sofa cushions.

Hi, does anybody know where I can buy foam and cut it to size to make a couple of new base cushions for an old 2 seater?
I was thinking of only covering them in cheap sheeting as the sofa has a gazillion throws on it ( you know, a throw to keep the throw clean!)
I'm Always washing them as the smelly old dog is rather fond of being on the furniture!
Or...if you have done this yourself have you any tips/ advice for me?

Dunelm does this kind of foam

Sizes available: One size available in W 50cm (20") x L 56cm (22") x H 10cm (4")

Prob buy it from an upholsterer cheaper but they are far and few now adays.

There is a company in Dunmurry which makes foam for sofas - but they are really reluctant to sell to the public. Can't remember the name, but they are near the police station and auction house and I know they are listed in the yellow pages.
