Recycling old photos

Does anyone know of any way to recycle old photographs. I was going through a big box of them, and upto half of them are either bad quality, out of focus, too dark, or of something just plain boring (you CAN have too many photos of the Red Arrows!).
Being green, I'm reluctant to just bin them, so if there's a way of recycling them, I'd much prefer to do that.

I wonder if your local scrapbook store may take them if they hold classes for people to use as extras ???? sometimes you can punch out tons of useful shapes from seemingly boring/out of focus photos ???0

I've never heard of a scrapbook store either, but if you don't have one around, you could perhaps try ebay or Freecycle. The rubbishy ones can be recycled in craft projects as grwoingafamily suggested, and others may be of interest to collectors.
How old are the photos? Subjects like the Red Arrows will be of more interest if they include close-up details and/or clearly visible settings which would help to date them and distinguish them from recent pics.
If I were listing them on ebay, I'd bundle the rubbishy ones as one lot with a very low start price, then sort the rest into lots according to common factors, e.g. subjects (buildings, planes or whatever) or approximate age; if there are many very similar prints, I'd sort them by era and include a variety in each bundle of maybe 5-20 photos, and list them with low start prices, offering postage discounts on multiple purchases.0
