Council Run MOT Test Centre - Gorgie

Options
Hi

I've got my MOT coming up and am thinking about using the Council Test Centre in Gorgie in Edinburgh.

Just wondered if anyone had used it and what it was like?

thanks

Used it to MOT a vehicle a couple of years back - failed on several minor points - took it to another garage for repairs [they were happy with the failsheet details as being fair and above board - no excessive/made up problems] .... back to Council depot for re-test [fee payable] ... and passed on rechecking the failed points.

I was happy with the service received - they all appear to be pro's and I didn't get any impression they were likely to pass anything remotely dodgy...... but at same time might not be quite as 'picky' as other MOT testing places might be with minor points [just my impression].

    hope it helps,

They are good & usually cheaper than garages as they do not have to find silly faults as they do not do repairs.
