Payday loan debt tansferred problem
Hello
I am just wondering if anyone can help
I am going through debt management at the moment all is going well at the moment apart from Wonga. They have transferred my debt on to a collection agency about a week ago.
Over this weekend though they started to take out £5 amounts from the named account they has as my old bank decided to raise my overdraft slightly again without my knowledge.
Four amounts were taken and I just keep getting the normal sayings from Wonga about they are allowed to.
The debt has been transferred to this other company and they are now named on my DMP so is this legal Wonga can still take this money after transferring my debt.
Any help I will be glad for

Hiya,
Sorry to hear about your grief from Wonga.
I'm in a similar situation with a PayDay company, owing them for a loan.
Maybe cancel your card?
Don't just cancel it. Report the card as stolen / lost to your bank, and possibly even consider closing your account and opening a basic account elsewhere.
At least that way Wonga can't dip their hands in.
Good Luck,

Yep, you need to cancel the cards and or account or they will keep taking it until you're on the streets."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0

Thanks for the help
Card has been cancelled yesterday so they cant use that number again and I have written to Lloyds to make sure that stop raising the overdraft limit.
I cant cancel the Lloyds account as I still own them money which is being paid off through the DMP but at least the new basic account is safe.0
