Homemade Green and Blacks chocolate hamper

Hi everyone
I've really enjoyed reading all the posts about Christmas recently - I love it so much that I would leave my tree up all year if I could!
Unfortunately my boyfriends birthday is the end of November and he won't allow Christmas to start until after then.
It's his 30th this year and has mentioned a Green and Blacks chocolate hamper that he likes the look off (sorry, I'm not allowed to post a link to the Ultimate Chocolate Hamper!). These are about £50 and I really can't afford one so I'm hoping to make one up myself and wondered if anyone could offer me advice on where to find things for it?
So far I've got a few chocolate bars (half price in co-op at the mo) and some drinking chocolate.
I'm struggling where to go next - can anyone help?
Many thanks

Do you mean this one?

If you look at this page, you can see how they put the elements together - how much would it cost you to work out your own kind of 'menu' of things you know he'd like, and pinch their ideas for inspiration?

What about a green and blacks cookbook? They did a promotion and gave some away last year and on amazon they have some from 2nd hand sellers for just pence (plus p+p)0

why not make him a couple of things with the G&B chocolate
nigellas rocky road
and the mint crisp recipe from here (like elizabeth shaw but much nicer)0 -
What about keeping an eye out in the supermarkets and see if any of the chocolate is on offer.
If all he likes is the G+B stuff you could buy a bit each week or so to spread out the cost. Its unlikely to come to £50. If he likes other chocolate you could buy some of the boxes on offer or other sweets.
Then pop it all in a nice box, have a look for a cheap one and fill in the gaps with some tissue paper, wrap up, tie a ribbon and et voila!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Thank you so much for all your replies!
The link to the green and blacks 'make your own' section is really helpful - I can't believe I didn't see it.
I think am going to get him a second hand book from Amazon and then make him a couple of things out of it - definately cheaper then buying him a big tray of chocs. Plus I get to be a tester whilst I'm cooking it!0
