There are many ways of doing this. Do you want to set up an account for share dealing if it's to be a regular thing, or is it just a "one off"?

You can go online and find one of the many companies/brokers who do this, or take your certificate into a bank (not sure these days if you need an account with a bank or not). I've used Nat West in the past. It may also be worth trying a building society (the Halifax have a share dealing service). I'd give them a ring first, you'll need to take your share certificate with you and watch out for commission charges, as these can vary.

Cahoot have a share dealing online service and charge £12.50 per transaction and no admin. charge.

You could also try looking at the shares on Teletext as their pages are usuallly interspersed with share dealing companies you could use

I've had an account with Barclays Sharedealing in the past, but cancelled it as I didn't have many and they do charge admin. charges every quarter of about £5, plus extra charges for any transactions made.

    Hope this helps.
