new house,new mortage, new plan?

I know this sounds a little early days but i feel you can't go wrong with a little planning. I am just about to embark on my first property and by my calculations i will have between 300 and 400 left at the end of the bills each month. What is the best place for this extra money? ISA/Over pay? any guidance would be appreciated
Thank for the inspiration by the way. Keep up the great worek!:T

Hi Congratulations on the new house.

Your decision will depend on the terms of your mortgage, what interest rate? Can you get a better savings rate than your mortgage?

Do you have any savings at the moment as it is always worth having some savings for emergencies and other things that crop up unexpectedly.
