The Great Escape is back – and it’s bigger and better than ever!
Simply travel after the morning rush between 23 October and 31 October and go anywhere on London Midland trains for just £10 – or treat yourself to first class for just £10 more.
Visit as many or as few places as you like – the price covers your travel all day. You can even travel home during the evening rush hour.

1. The Great Escape ticket allows unlimited travel for one day on all London Midland train services. Travel is not permitted on any other train operator's services.
2. Great Escape tickets can be used all day at weekends or after 0930 on weekdays, although no restrictions apply within the Network West Midlands zones 1-5 on any day. If you're travelling to London from stations north of Rugby, you can also use the 0753/ 0853 Birmingham to Euston and the 0733/ 0833 Crewe to Euston trains. Customers from Rugby, Nuneaton and Atherstone can also travel on the 1038 arrival into Crewe. No evening peak restrictions apply.
3. You must specify the date you wish to travel on the application form (between 23-31 October).
4. To obtain your ticket(s), you will need to hand in your Great Escape voucher (and pay the appropriate fare) at any ticket office on the London Midland network. You won’t be able to buy Great Escape tickets over the telephone or online, and no tickets will be issued without a voucher. If you are exchanging your voucher on the day of travel and there are no ticket office facilities at your station, you may purchase your ticket from the conductor on board the train.
5. The number of tickets that you are entitled to buy (and the date of travel) will be printed on your Great Escape voucher. You may buy fewer, as long as at least one adult is travelling.
6. There is no limit on the number of ticket applications that can be made.
7. Vouchers ordered by telephone will be sent using first class post. We cannot guarantee that the voucher will arrive in time for your journey.
8. Voucher applications can only be made via the London Midland website or the dedicated telephone number (08451 28 00 89).
9. Please check train times before travelling to ensure your journey is not affected by engineering works.
10. First class is only available on certain routes. If you buy a first class ticket, please check that first class is available for the journey you are making.
11. The Great Escape voucher has no monetary value.
