Unfortunetly I contacted them again and was told a completely different story - that they are not recruiting anyone, which again I know is a lie.
Anyway it appears that there is nothing I can do as it is not legal discrimination....An employer is allowed to discriminate in any way they please EXCEPT for those prohibited by law.
So they could, for example, say that they will only employ people who live in a house with a red front door!
