20" LCD TV. Is this the bargain it seems?

Beko 20LB450 20in LCD TV.
Was £699.99 529/0035
Now £349.99

Brightness 450cd/m2.
Resolution 640 x 480 pixels.
RGB via SCART.

From Argos.

Any help would be greatfully appreciated as I do not know which one to buy.

But is this tv worth the money? It seems a good price for a 20" LCD tv! Is it really naff? Does anyone know anything about the brand?

There is absolutely nothing about this TV that would make it a good buy. The spec is shockingly poor, whilst Beko have an equally poor reputation (in white goods they are generally regarded as the very worst for quality and reliability).

If you can only afford £350, either get a half-decent CRT (not the £160 supermarket specials!) or keep saving.

to put a different spin on things, I have one and I think it's pretty good! Got mine for £430 about 6 months ago

I purchased my BEKO from Richer Sounds 2 weeks ago for 299.99 and am completely impressed by it, no probs whatsoever, easy setup and brilliant picture. Very Impressive, with it I got the Relysis DVD recorder for 99.99 which again is excellent.
