Damn. Looks like anyone who wants it now will have to go instore and stump up the extra fiver, unless the sale is now over and all DVD's are back to their original price online and instore?!
Edit: It is no longer included in the Sale section. I am guessing because it sold so well, they decided to use some dynamic pricing and try make more money out of it, but I am guessing it will backfire on them.
Edit: Another possibility is that it's some sort of anti-website-mistake technology and the price will be reduced later perhaps?0 -
That's why it's in the Grabbit forum, these offers don't tend to last long. In fact, this has lasted for a few days, which is fairly unusual with mega offers like this.I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0

It's the usual price. It is £19.99 instore. The online price is consistent with the usual difference between online and instore prices. It will simply be because it sold well.Clasics wrote:That's why it's in the Grabbit forum, these offers don't tend to last long. OK, I put my order in for this just before they hiked up the price. On my confirmation e-mail it has some blurb about 'this does not form a contract' and on my account info on hmv website the order is showing as 'open' saying 'item to be ordered from the manufacturer'.
But if you search for the Matrix set it shows it at £59.99 and says "24 hour delivery" so that would seems to say it IS in stock. Are they just hoping I'll go away because they don't want to sell it at £14.99 and can they do this? Anyone else had this?0 -
I repeat! This is £19.99 instore in Virgin and HMV. Get £2 off with your student card in either store too (if a student). I got this in Virgin after missing the boat on this offer.
@Annabee - if you have an e-mail order confirmation with a price in, that will be the price you pay and it would be against the law for the checkout to show £14.99 and for them to then decide to charge you £59.99. It probably shows that as there have been lots of orders due to sites like this one advertising it.0 -
has anyone got thiers yet? I havent and seems a while now.0

This is now back on offer at £14.99 on the HMV website!!
