Im just wondering if anyone knows of any offers/discounts for the one off payment package.

I have just moved into a house that has a sky dish and all the wiring is there a cheap way of getting a sky one off package?

Hope someone can help

  • Are you after watching things like Sky1, or just the basic freebie BBC/ITV/4/5/4Music/B4U type channels?

If you want the whole hog, the Pay Once Watch Forever package only included Sky1/2/3 etc for a few months - after that you had to pay full whack, so you might as well call up Sky and subscribe (and get a free Sky Plus box)

If you're only wanting the freebie channels, you could do worse than this for £29: http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/bush-freesat-sd-digital-box-29-99-a/773308#comments
  • I just want the basic channels. I have built in digi into my tv do i still need one of these boxes or can i just plug the sky wires into the back of the tv?

Your TV's built in digital is probably Freeview - that needs to have a standard roof aerial plugged into it, NOT a satellite feed.
If you don't have an aerial, you might want to consider Freesat which will give you all the basic channels you're after, and plugs straight into that Sky cable. You can get HD too.
