You need to have a look at your credit rating and see if you can get a different C card. the one you have has a superr high APR. Mine is on 0%, which means every single penny of each payment reduces the balance, not pays off the interest.
You CAN get cards that take on loans and overdrafts, Im fairly sure that Egg and mint do. And they both have 0%.
theres a M&S card as well with a low llife of balance at 3.00 off apr. I dont have this, but might get this later on if Its still going when my 0% expires.
have you cut your cards up?
What do you have to sell ?
i have tried in the past month but for some reason i keep getting rejected, i have this week received copies of my credit reports but there is nothing on them that identified why i am been refused.0 -
mine was 0%for a year that ran out in august0

ooh love- get rid of the Sky! Everyone who posts a SOA on here says something like "it's my only luxury", but frankly how much of a luxury is umpteen channels of c**p anyway? I have the cheapest cable package there is and I still have so many channels of c**p I couldn't watch it all in a month of Sundays!
Love, and good luck!

Sell the TV and get rid of the TV license and SKY!
I don't watch TV unless at a friend's house & I really don't miss it. Also, my brain is no longer sawdust and I have time to DO things in the evenings!!
Also no more fighting over the remote control...;)Debt 2007 £17k
Current Debt approx £7.5k
Target - to pay off all debts by 2020 :A0 -
simply health is say i pay £100 to the dentist then they will give me £50 back
for £120.00 myself and my 1 year daughter
Your daughter will get any dental care free anyway, and so why don't you keep the £28 for yourself (save it up in a seperate account if you want) I reckon that you will be paying in far more than you claim - otherwise these companies would go out of business.0 -

Sky = 21.50 X 12 months = £258 what could you do with that money, do the same for any other luxories and decide which you want to keep and which arent worth the money your spending. If it doesnt pay rent sell it.
Mortgage - £2,000

This sounds like the basic Sky package! Not too much of a luxury... and Freeview is Free (except for initial box) and doesn't offer that mich less.
If you really want to get debt-free ditch the "luxuries" until you can afford them.0
