Job with the AA - they want to credit check me!

I have a possible job lined up with the AA but to complete my employment I am required to go through a credit check!

I have terrible credit history - does this mean that I won't get the job just because of this? I have done everything well i.e. the interviews, tests etc.

:(

  • It depends how bad your credit history is. They will only have access to your 'public record' which will not show details of default notices etc. They basically will want to know if you have any CCJs or bankrupcies on your file.
