Hi there, I'm looking to spend around £40 on some Ugg-syle boots and wondered if anyone has a recommendation? I know you can get them in most shoe shops, but have you found any that are decent quality and comfortable?

If you know somebody who has a Costco membership, they do their own brand Kirkland sheepskin boots < £30. They look just like Uggs and are lovely and snuggly to wear. I've also got sheepskin slippers from there too £15!
There's a huge Ugg thread on MSE but most of the alternatives are a lot more than £40.0 -
Ugg boots are so comfortable, I have about 4 pairs although expensive they are so worth it. I might have a look at costco at the slippers 20

Hi, best ones I have found are Skechers, they start from about £35, I find them really comfy but you may need to shop around to get the best price.
Good luck!0 -

Marks & Spencers:beer:
My DD has had Uggs and Marks & Spencers, she reskons the M&S ones were better than the Uggs.0 -
Hi,
Try searching online, there are various sites which offer best and cheap deals on Ugg-style boots.

I bought Whoogas last year, they are around £70 though but I love them, I really ummd and errd about buying them, thought it was a risk, read good and bad reviews but glad I did. Still yearn for 'proper' Uggs but it is ridiculous paying £200 imo for a label when there are so many other sheep skin boots out there!
The other boots around the £80 mark are the celtic sheepskin ones.
For me the difference between the cheaper ones and the mid price is the quality of sheep skin and the strength of the stitching and inside. My feet don't flop around in my boots even after a year of stretching.Mummy to toddler Ben0 -

i think i paid around £60 for my emus and this will be their 3rd winter!! they are worn every day and havnt sagged and i dont walk off the heal in them like you see people in really cheap ones0

I was looking at Bear Paw ones in TK Maxx the other day.
Some seem quite sturdy while others are not so I think you need to pick out the decent ones. They are also labeled as suede with sheepskin lining so not quite the same as Ugg but for £40, they can't be too bad.
V comfy on & a much better fit than the Canterbury Supertreads I got from NZ last year.0
