This is refurbished.
Is the photo is of the correct laptop, it looks like a Gateway one.
The price is good, but once again this is only a single core notebook, while most of the new ones come out with newer dual core processors, which might become more important in a couple of years time

Embrago means they are not allowed to publish the name. It is one of the conditions when they get the notebooks back for refurbishing and it is not to create too much competition with the brand new notebooks of the same brand.

To me it looks a Gateway laptop, but if anyone is in London now close to Morgan in New Oxford Street, please go around, check and report exact brand and model number!

Yes, it was from an email. Didnt think it meant anything.

It does look a good deal. The specifications are very similar to the Gateway MX6640b. The 6640b has a slightly faster processor but smaller hard disk. Apart from that I think the specs more or less match.

Reportedly was around £799

EDIT : This model seems to match the spec more precisely in terms of processor- MX6625. Though smaller HD and RAM. Great reviews! (not)

Not a good deal, you can get a Duo laptop for the same price and it won't be refurbished.

What with all the rest to, thats including 100gb, 1gb ram, multi drive, card reader and firewire?

WHat would be madness about buying a refurb when it comes with the same 1yr warranty you would get when buying it brand new?
