I have been summond to do jury service:eek: on the form they sent, it says have I been to court for any reason in the past 12 months.
We were in court a few weeks ago about the charge on our property, does this count?
Feeling a bit nervous,so have been watching lots of Taggart dvds to get a few tips, has anyone out there done jury service, any advice would be good.

I did Jury Service about 2 weeks after I went bankrupt, sat in the jurors waiting area for two weeks and did nothing, was sooooooooo boring. Really wanted to get picked too.
Not sure about the court thing im afraid. Is there a helpline number you can call to clarify?0 -
could you just put yes and then put in the reason (if there is a space for that) - and then let them decide one way or the other, takes the heat off you and transfers the decision to someone else!0

I had two weeks of doing nothing..... didn't get picked for one case!
My employers got one of jury services deferred then the second time I had to do it
As said above just put down your reason and then it is up to the courts to decided

I just had a look at the forms on the HMCS website, and I can't find that question?
I can't imagine it refers to civil proceedings over a CO though.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
