I have searched and read throiugh the other threads on this, but they are a bit out dated. budget £150 - £200
I am after a petrol mower (self propelled) as the gardens on a bit of a slope, i have seen one on Homebase for £149 which has a griggs and stratton engine which from what i have read is a good reliable engine!
The other one is a power devil 4637 - but i have read mixed reports on these
As it's the season to pick these up and good prices, has anyone else seen good bargains or reccomend where else i should look?
Thanks in advance

Personally I am a fan of Honda mowers and am still pushing the old Honda around that my parents had in the early 80's starts virtually first time every season...and I do abuse it!!!
Think I killed it on last cut...hit a huge metal weight in the grass last month and it has now got a dreadful shudder guess the shaft is bent...ooops.
Might get a good deal on a second had one at this time of year!0 -
Thanks, would prefer a new one though, had alook on ebay and there seems the usual rubish at the moment!0

My mountfield has a Briggs and Stratton engine. I've had it over 12 years now. No problems. I have it serviced every 2-3 years.
It is not self propelled and I find it okay on slopes. Personal choice I surpose.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4.............................NCFC member No: 00005.........
