  • My life just gets better and better! I am in court today as my ex has not been paying his credit card. If they place a charging order on the property this stops me from going on Northern Rock's Assisted Voluntary Sale Scheme. I have already started having viewings on the house for prospective buyers. I have written to NR to let them know the full situation. Its looking like I may have to go down the repossession route!!!!!!!!!!! :(
  • I thought this thread was dead and buried and timely that it should just have appeared again given my current situation.

Have now missed 3 mortgage payments and the bank is now starting to get p****d off with me although have been in constant contact with them over situation. Last week got a final demand I telephoned them and had a good conversation with them, nice as pie. The sent the forms through for the AVS I went to the estate agent whom I have the house on the market with and asked them for a letter saying the property has been on the market for 6 months little interest would have to drop price to get a sale.

I have sent a letter in explaining cannot afford mortgage will they give my a payment break in order to sell, no reply so phoned them up yesterday, again nice as pie but seem to be very keen on me voluntarily handing the property, all I have to do is post the keys back with a letter sayin have no interest in property, which at this time I am very tempted to do, have somewhere else to live.

Still no interest in house, the house next door is about to go on the market and he has lots of equity, he knows what mine is on the market for knows not sold so whats he going to do? Undercut!

In whole have had enough so think will clear house and send keys back at end of month, then decide on goin BK, tho if I do she will be in deep trouble which not really what I want!

This post is 5 years old so I don't think they will be back to answer you I'm afraid. If you have a question why not start a thread of your own.
